Accessibility Statement for Shlomo’s Animal Site
Last Updated: 17/09/2024
The internet currently serves as the largest repository for the free flow of information for all users, including—and especially—those with disabilities. Consequently, we place great importance on ensuring that individuals with disabilities have equal access to the information presented on this site, and on providing an improved browsing experience.
We strive to ensure that our digital services are accessible to people with disabilities. To this end, we have invested significant resources into making the site as easy to use as possible for individuals with disabilities—driven by the belief that every person has the right to live with equality, dignity, comfort, and independence. To fulfill this commitment, we strive to adhere as closely as possible to the recommendations of the Israeli Standard (IS 5568) for web content accessibility (Level AA) and the international WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

Accessibility at the Farm

•    There is a parking area adjacent to "Shlomo’s Animals" (Chayot Shel Shlomo), with spaces suitable for vehicles with disabled parking permits.
•    Access paths—including the parking area, the entrance to "Shlomo’s Animals," and the walkways—are fully accessible.
•    Entrances—all entrances are accessible.
•    Restrooms—the restroom stalls are spacious and accommodate wheelchair users.
•    Visual impairments—some animal enclosures allow for close-up viewing, while others are located further away, which may make it difficult to see the animals. In the animal interaction area, individuals with disabilities are also welcome to hold or interact with the animals.
•    Service animals (such as guide dogs) are permitted at "Shlomo’s Animals"; however, a brief orientation/instruction session is required beforehand. To coordinate this, please contact the office at 055-666-0897 or via email at Shlomoanimals@gmail.com.
•    The farm’s pathways are free of stairs, ensuring full accessibility for wheelchairs and strollers.
• A visit to "Shlomo’s Animals" (Chayot Shel Shlomo) must be done on foot! Bicycles, electric vehicles, roller skates, scooters, and similar items are not permitted.
• You may contact "Shlomo’s Animals" via the office at 055-666-0897 or by email at Shlomoanimals@gmail.com.
Our staff is available to assist visitors with any needs or requests.
